Shipping process

Every merchandise entrusted to our care follows a rigorous and secure journey, from pickup until its final destination.

Choose your method of creating the delivery slip. Through the app or paper, and then submit your request to Elwood.

We estimate for you the ideal volume and transportation for your goods.

You choose the type of packaging for your goods.

Please confirm your desired delivery date as soon as possible.

You will receive a final packing list to be checked and validated before departure.

You must provide us with all customs documents and client information, as well as a power of attorney in order to carry out all administrative procedures.

Final checks before shipment. The transportation payment must be made no later than 1 day before departure.

Your goods are loaded and transported by Elwood to the Air or Sea departure platform.
THE CONTAINERS ARE NOT LOADED IN ADVANCE. THEY BELONG TO THE SHIPPING COMPANY – WE ARE NOT THE SHIPPING COMPANY.

A tracking link will be provided to you.

Your goods are arriving in the destination country. Customs clearance may be required upon arrival at the expense of the client. The broker may take several days to clear the merchandise.

Insurances

Coverage extent
Our insurance covers loss at sea, theft or destruction of the container, as well as damage to internal objects (subject to proof).
If you wish to use your own insurance, please inform us in advance.

Procedure in case of damage
You have a strict deadline of 3 days maximum after delivery to report a claim.
After this deadline, no claims will be accepted.

Documents required for the file:
1 – Comparative photos: Photos of the item at the time of purchase vs photos upon arrival.
2 – Packaging proof: Photos of the packaging of the damaged piece.
3 – Supporting documents: Purchase invoice and delivery receipt from the carrier with your written reservations.
